By joining the Society, you can benefit from the company and expertise of fellow modellers. Share your ideas; learn new skills. You can contribute to the Society in many ways: at the moment, we are paricularly keen to find new, enthusiastic Members to help progress our New Main Club Layout. Why not pop down the clubrooms and meet the team? You can visit us any Tuesday or Friday (just check the calendar on our main page to verify we’re open).
You will need to press the bell (top right-hand of doorframe) at the entrance and a member of our team will come down to let you in.
Our Clubhouse facilities include a well-stocked Library, a small Club Shop, refreshments ... oh, and of course, no fewer than SEVENTEEN layouts in several gauges and sizes, and in varying stages of development. Future proposed enhancements include a new workshop to replace the cinema room.
Subscriptions
Subscription cost varies depending on age. The subscription year runs from 1st July to 30th June; subs are paid in advance and Members can choose to pay either annually at the start of July or bi-annually with half in July and half the following January. We also now take monthly standing order payments, which helps spread the cost significantly.
